This card was inspired by the tiles in the background used by Etsy shop Vintage Atmosphere (vintageatmosphere), the inspiration site chosen this week by guest hostess Nancy Williams. It is also for 5 challenges during Dare to Get dirty Week at SplitcoastStampers.
I’ve always wanted to feature Celtic interlace (or at least, something that looks like it) on a card (similar to the Mizuhiki knots), and this is probably the closest I’ve gotten so far. This is pretty easy to do – just nest the Spellbinders Labels One die-cuts (starting from the second largest), cut, then arrange the cut pieces alternately as shown in the picture. Use foam tape dots for dimensionality.
DTGD Week will be over on August 11, and after that, I will be able to share the challenge details with you, so check back for updates!
