The Cards for a Cause: Inmates Project was just wrapping up and I was starting to think what to do next… and what do you know, I got an email from Paulette asking me to be a part of a blog adventure called “Creating Christmas“! Well, of course, I said, “Yes!”
Creating Christmas will run from November 15 to December 15. In Paulette’s words, “This adventure was created for artists to share complete hybrid-type printable projects as freebies for the Christmas gift giving needs of everyone out there! We are focusing on the downloadable freebies to be hybrid projects and completely printable. Everyone has a list of people to give little gifties to, as well as that ’special someone’ that you want to give an extra special hand made treasure!”
So, to start with, here’s a look on the first printable I’m offering:
Oh my goodness, now what was I thinking! The theme is supposed to be Christmas, and here I am making a Thanksgiving project! Oh well, I guess that since Thanksgiving is just few days away, my mind was on it already, LOL! I promise that the next project will be Christmas one.
As for this project, I call it my “Two-candle Gift Bag”. I created the template six years ago when I needed a bag to contain two candles for my daughters’ teachers. For some reason, I couldn’t find a gift bag in the stores that was just the right size – so I made it myself. Over the next years, I found myself using this gift bag template again and again – it was just the right size for a lot of things – two jars of jam/jelly, two cans of soup, a Warm Delight™ cake plus packets of tea or coffee, a T-shirt, a receiving blanket, baked goodies, two grab-n-go cups, two Starbucks Frappuccino™ bottles plus Twinkies™, etc. I hope that you find this bag as useful as I did – below is the designed template – just right-click on the image and save in your computer. The images used are from Do me a Favor – Holiday Series at Gem’s Cottage. And of course, don’t forget to come back often and check this blog and the other blogs listed at Creating Christmas!

Thanks for the Freebie – LianeZ
Thank you so much for this Thanksgiving Bag… I love it and know I will use it! Is it possible to ask you for the template too? I understand if you don’t share the templates… but thought better asked then not… Hope you’re having a great Sunday!
